When Joel and I
were engaged one of the many questions we asked was, “Will we bring more glory
to God together than apart?” Three years
later I can say Joel is one of the best things that happened to me. We come from different backgrounds and yet
God has given us the same desire. Our
desire is to want others to come to know Him and to be released from the
bondage of sin. We are a healthy balance of spontaneity and
order, cleverness and servant-hood, comic relief and seriousness. He is reserved and an amazing listener. I am whole-hearted and enthusiastic. We make a great pair!
I became a
Christian when I was twelve with the hopes to save all the children in the
world. Joel gave his life to the LORD
five years ago with the call to help others be freed from addictions.
We don’t see
ourselves by what we have but Who we know.
Our past paints a clearer picture of who Christ is in our lives. Everything we possess spiritually is from Him
who freely gives. We are His bond servants!
